About us
Pelhams Bowls Club is situated in the grounds of Pelhams House, Kinson
Our membership consists of a number of bowling, life and social members. We have a well-maintained green with seven bowling rinks. Our Clubhouse boasts a well stocked bar, at competitive prices, and our well-equipped kitchen is able to provide drinks, snacks and light meals.
We are affiliated to Bowls England, Bowls Hampshire, Bournemouth and District Bowling Association and Bournemouth and District Women's Bowling Association. We have a number of members who play at County level but our main bowling activity is within the Bournemouth district. We currently have four teams in the Saturday Bournemouth Men's League, three teams in the Thursday Ladies' League, and six teams in the Bournemouth unisex Tuesday evening Triples League (although this may be four teams in 2021 due to Covid restrictions).
In addition to our commitment to Bowls Hampshire and the Bournemouth Bowling Association, we have a full programme of internal club competitions for both men, women and mixed formats.
We are proud of our record of hosting Friendly matches with visiting clubs from all over the UK. All of which make for a very pleasant afternoon's light hearted bowling and socialising.
